SAP PLM 솔루션의 품질 관리는 모든 업무영역과 통합되어 전사적인 품질계획에서 실행, 통제, 분석, 개선 활동에 이르는 전사적 품질에 대한 모든 관리를 지원합니다. ISO, GMP, FDA 등의 국제적인 표준을 수용하여 어떠한 산업에도 품질보증과 품질관리 내부 프로세스의 최적화를 달성할 수 있습니다.
품질관리는 조달 프로세스 상의 구매, 계약, 입찰, 공급업체 관리 등의 모든 활동과 연계되는 분야로, 급변하는 시장환경에 대처할 수 있는 경쟁력을 제공해 줄 수 있습니다.
PLM400 과정은 SAP PLM Quality Management의 기능들에 대한 이해와 이를 통해 SAP Supply Chain Management (SAP SCM) external procurement, SAP SCM planning, SAP SCM manufacturing, 그리고 SAP SCM sales and distribution processes and logistics execution 등 다른 SAP의 솔루션들과의 통합에 대한 지식 및 공급망 내에서 Quality Management의 역할에 대한 이해를 제공합니다.
PLM405(Quality Inspection) 과정에서는 품질검사 계획에서 필요로 하는 마스터 데이터의 관리와 사용에 대한 내용을 다루게 됩니다. 그리고 Inspection Lot 생성, 검사 실행 및 완료 등 품질검사에 대한 여러 프로세스를 검토하고 이해하는 과정으로 이루어 져 있습니다. 또한 이후에 자세히 다루어지게 될 조달, 생산, 판매 및 유통에서의 품질관리 기능들을 이해하기 위한 준비과정이 됩니다.
PLM410(Quality Notifications)는 구매자재관리, 생산, 판매 및 유통 등의 프로세스 체인 내에서의 문제들이나 품질관리 내부적인 문제들에 대한 품질통지의 내용을 다루게 됩니다.
